Nawaz Sharif Retruns To Kot Lakhpat Jail And LOL, Hamza Shahbaz Seemed Quite Happy About It!

Former prime minister Nawaz Sharif left his Jati Umra residence for Kot Lakhpat jail in Lahore after his six-week bail expired on Tuesday and was accompanied by a long solidarity rally comprising of PMLN workers led by Maryam Nawaz. He reached Kot Lakhpat after midnight around 12:15 AM due to heavy traffic that was caused by PML N supporters that were in hundreds.

Nawaz Sharif along with Maryam Nawaz can be seen here exiting the residence leaving for Kot Lakhphat Jail, tweeted by the party’s official account.

Current VP of PMLN, Maryam Nawaz posted a message that former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif left for his supporters and party workers en route.

Nawaz Sharif has reached the jail accompanied by thousands of supporters that delayed his arrival due to which superintendent of the jail said, “since Nawaz did not report back to jail in time, the lockup has been closed for the night and jail authorities will now not receive him.” The Punjab home department directed the jail to accept Nawaz despite him being late.
