NEPRA accepted the monthly electricity price adjustment for April, sent by the Central Power Purchasing Agency (CPPA). CPPA on behalf of XWAPDA power distribution companies.

Petition filed for an Rs 2.94 per unit. Consumers may have to face Rs 22.8 billion for their power consumption as fuel charge adjustment (FCA). According to CPPA, the price hike includes an adjustment of Rs 7 billion from March 2024.
