Closing your eyes and ears don’t change anything. React responsibly! If you know you can’t completely change anything alone, then at least condemn, raise your voice against it! Although that’s the minimum but can be very significant in many perspectives.

First of all, let me make this very clear that this is not unethical, nor this topic should be a Taboo to talk about that a normal human being can’t raise words against. And secondly, if ‘Feminism’ is important, then so is the matter of Child Rights and Protection. We all know what this is, we all know that this is happening, and we all know really well that this needs to end!

It’s not another topic of debate; it is one of the grave crimes. Child molestation is eating up our society like a fatal disease, and it needs to be addressed and stopped through a strict lawful channel. Every now and then we get to read and hear about this in news, but sadly that’s all whats being done. It happens, nobody stops it, and very few of the incidents reach the highlights of newspapers and bulletins.

Everyone talks about it for a few days or maybe weeks, eventually, nobody does anything about it, no lawful actions, no adamant investigations, nothing happens. And then ‘it happens again’ and so the cycle of misery continues. Is this how it will always be?

Unfortunately, we live in a country with political instability, where our courts and laws are struggling through the process of implementation. The authorities are too busy in making their own profits out of whatever power they have been granted. So who is suffering? The public of course! This one crime is not the only one to complain and condemn about, there are endless issues in the society which are deteriorating us as a nation. But like so many other things, this has to end!

Molestation is unacceptable, whether it be in the case of a woman or a child. And the series of cases continue only because the culprits are neither confronted for real nor caught for their unforgivable crime. And this is something that has weakened the faith of the public in the system of law and order, which is why only four out of ten cases approach for justice.

And poignantly, those too have to remain silent in the end, because of the disbelief in the power of law and fear of the inhumane influences. Crime and terror can never be eradicated from a society until or unless the rules of law overpower all of the dirty play.

Think for a second, we just read and hear about lives being affected by this, and we can’t stand it. Imagine the state of those who go through this, their agony and torment are far beyond our imagination. Why is that we can mourn over what’s happening, we can grab such issues for head line news, social media posts, and discussions but no court, no law, no authority is actually going to take action on the front line against this; for providing justice to the victims?

This is a big question mark for those who claim to be the so called well wishers of our state. All we get to hear often is that the case is under investigation, and the suspects have been caught, then what’s next? Are they taken to the courts? Are they executed? Or locked up in jails to die? No clue!

Maybe the real culprits are not even caught in the first place in the majority of the cases, who knows. Sadly, that’s how uncertain life has become in our beloved country. Abduction and murders, the ratio is increasing with every day passing by. No monsters are afraid of ruining lives because there is nothing practical happening; that could possibly make them fear the consequences of the crime they attempt to commit.

We could hope for things to get better, we could pray for a positive and long lasting change. But nothing is ever going to happen for real until those in authority would realize their responsibilities for saving the leftover bits of humanity in our society. How and when is that going to happen? That itself is a big question in the face of the torchbearers of justice and for peace in our country.
