Salman Khan’s Movie Tere Naam is getting a sequel Tere Naam 2 after 16 whole years and everyone is excited, surprisingly. The movie Tere Naam starring Salman as the lead actor obviously had a very disturbing story. It is about a college boy who is aggressive and only knows the language of violence. He falls in love with a girl because of her simplicity and innocence. But this is where it gets weird, he develops an obsession with her and continues to annoy her by confessing and expressing his love, to an extent that she tells Salman sweet nothings just to get him off her back. When his stalkerish pursuing gets intense, she ends up rejecting him out of frustration. It gets more dramatic from this point on, but I won’t get into the entire plot. You get the gist.

Which Part Of This Description Sounds Pleasing? None Of It
This movie is a romantic film, how? They only romanticized obsessive and downright creepy behavior that is not even close to what romance is. Last they showed him growing old in the asylum and forever remembers his one true love. The sequel is yet another love story.
According to the sources “The sequel is a new story, Satish finished writing the script recently. It is a love story revolving around a ‘ghunda’ and will be set in North India.” The cast, however, is being kept a secret while the movie is set to roll out by the end of this year.
What’s All The Hype About?
You can’t expect much from this “love story” as we know how the last one went. The hype that the sequel is getting is not worth it. Everyone’s questioning whether Salman Khan will be in the movie and we hope not. At least not playing the lead role and definitely not romancing a young female actor.
Verdict? The first one was cheap and the second one doesn’t sound promising at all. So it would be best to cut down on all the hype, at least from Pakistan. What do you all think?
