We all know the recent controversy that has taken over all sorts of media, be it social, electronic or print media. I’m writing all this not to defend the particular person. Neither Ayesha Gulalai nor Imran Khan. We are no one to make judgments unless something gets proven, all I need to say is to the youth, as educated citizens of Pakistan isn’t there some responsibility that we hold?

We should feel ashamed of all the memes on which we are laughing and tagging our friends. The writers of such pathetic memes should show some social responsibility! Is this how we should deal an accusation issue?! Should we make fun of women harassment (no matter it’s true or not)?

Here I want to mention all those memes which have fake conversations. Is this our moral standard?! Is this our responsibility towards the serious social issues. Also, all the pages who are posting Ayesha Gulalai’s sister’s pictures. Why are we doing all this?! Hadn’t Ayesha Gulalai left PTI, we would have been calling her sister the pride of Pakistan and now what are we even doing!?

Let’s act mature folks! Let’s wait for these accusations to be considered true or false and then come up with judgments and results. Those who have complete faith in Imran Khan’s character, please act sensibly. And those who don’t have, you all need to act mature too! After all, it’s not a PTI- PMLN conflict.

Let’s respect each other. A man’s dignity is equally respectable as a female’s.
