Zainab Case: This Video Has Important Information Which Might Help Catch The Culprit

Zainab, a resident of Road Kot area of Kasur, had gone missing on January 4 when she ventured out of the house. Her body was found in a garbage pile near Kashmir Chowk five days after her disappearance. Zainab’s incident has opened ripples of many cases and now it’s unstoppable. Maybe all of such cases were somewhere in the news highlights but ignored. This incident not only has opened cases in Kasur but in Faisalabad, Multan and many other places.

Earlier yesterday, when the protesters gathered at the police station of Kasur and demanded answers they were asked to leave and stay silent. In retaliation to the protests, police opened straight fire and 3 people died on the spot.

After the firing yesterday, when Shafqat Mehmood member of NA came to offer Fatiha at Zainab’s house, people present there started the conversation which is recorded in this video. Many people including relatives of Zainab told Shafqat Mehmood that they suspect that common people of Kasur are not involved in this incident.

In this video, Zainab’s relatives told Mr. Mehmood that they had been searching for Zainab everywhere for past 5 days. They also told the place where her body was found is a very crowded place and how nobody noticed who dumped the body there. Locals suspect that it is the police which is highly involved in hiding things. People of Kasur have complained to police many times before but they never seem to take any notice.

One protester at the police station shared that seven minor girls were kidnapped last year, yet the police failed to arrest a single suspect.

The Punjab Bar Council announced a complete boycott of courts and lawyers have demanded the immediate arrest of the killer. Meanwhile, the burial of the two protesters allegedly killed by the police firing, Shoaib and Mohammad Ali, is expected to be held in the afternoon today.
