When you think about politicians posting strange or mysterious posts on social media, nothing can be more unusual than what Sherry Rehman posted today. The senator was elected back in 2015 and is also known to have served as Pakistan’s Ambassador to the United States from 2011 to 2013. According to the senator, the airplane belonging to the PIA from Boeing is missing from the inventory of the company and this has got her worried. Here is what she had to say:
Bizarre:
Yesterday Federal Minister Sheikh Iqbal confirmed in Senate that one Boeing aircraft is missing from PIA inventory. Missing?!!— SenatorSherryRehman (@sherryrehman) September 15, 2017
Sherry Rehman gathered some crowd after tweeting this unusual tweet and everyone started speculating the fate of the missing aircraft.

According to the Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs, Mr Sheikh Aftab Ahmad, the former CEO of PIA, Bernd Hildenbrand, took it to Germany upon returning home from Pakistan. The PIA spokesman added on that the plane had completed its airtime and was no longer valuable to the company. The aeroplane was grounded as it had completed its serving time, being 30 years old already.
Senator Sherry Rehman surely did a wonderful job posting a mysterious tweet as that gathered a crowd. Some making fun of Pakistani system, while others seeing it as a failure of the present government. Let us know what you think about this.
