Getting the leadership of a country is supposed to be based on one’s ideology and one’s legal standing to hold an office. It should be based on whether one is honest and determined for betterment or not. Checks should be done to find out if one is a criminal, a thief, a corrupt person or not.
If one passes through all these checks, they qualify to lead a country, a democratic setup that is defined to serve the people. That’s how a developed country’s democracy works. However, this hasn’t been the case in Pakistan in most of its history.
21 years ago, a guy rose up to change the history, and today when he started gaining success in his determination to get Pakistanis a better Pakistan, it became indigestible for the status quo. And when the opposition didn’t have anything concrete against him to bring him down, they went down themselves.
They stooped low. They started to attack on a personal level. The attacks continue. The smear campaigns continue and trading of people continues. Money is being spent in billions.
It is being done against the founder of world’s only free cancer hospital, university, billion tree tsunami, the man who got KPK people best medical treatment, computerized governance, non-political police, infrastructure and what not… – the man who got Pakistan the world cup. The man who wants to give power to Pakistanis to control their lives, to live a life of pride. They found nothing against the man so they stooped low. So very low…
However, the sell outs will end up exposing themselves. Honesty and integrity will prevail. Imran Khan will prevail. Corruption free Pakistan will prevail. Pakistan Hamesha Zindabad! Insha Allah!!
