This ‘Jaadooyi Talaab’ In Gujranwala Makes People Bathe In Filth And It Is Absolutely Sickening!

The patriarchy of fake Pirs in Pakistan has not only destroyed the families of millions but more than that, it has brought immense defamation to the true values of Islam.

Enlightening the public on this issue of grave importance, prominent TV Anchor Iqrar ul Hassan, known for his extraordinarily brave encounters with various Mafias, recently disclosed one of the many mind-boggling practices of self-proclaimed Pakistani Pirs.

The story unfolded in Gujranwala where people were seen to indulge in a sickening practice of bathing in filth. And unsurprisingly, they were persuaded on this by none other than a phony Pir…

An Absurd Idea…

Upon interacting with the practitioners, Iqrar, as usual, confronted amusingly absurd claims when they told him that bathing in that filthy pond would not only cleanse their soul but will also free them from all sorts of worldly afflictions…

Another asinine claim by the adherents was that the so-called sacred pond would never run dry-curing the mankind till eternity… So, in order to abolish this false belief among the stray mob, Iqrar called upon the authorities including CPO Gujranwala to cease the location on immediate basis. The place was later sealed and offenders of Law were taken into custody…

The Advent of Islam and the Sufi Saints

If we go back in history, we find out that soon after the advent of Islam in South-Asia, it were the Sufis and Religious Scholars who contributed vigorously in spreading the rightful message of Islam to every nook and corner of the region…

In every part of our country, there are shrines of such saints. In Lahore, are the shrines of Data Ganj Bukhsh and Mian Mir Sahib. In Pak Pattan, lived and died Baba Fareed. In Multan, is the shrine of Ghous Bahaul Haq. In Peshawar, in Quetta, and in countless other towns and cities there are the tombs of these men of God. In Sindh are the tombs of two great saints, Shah Abdul Latif and Qalandar Lai Shahbaz. These Saints selflessly devoted their lives to the service of Islam and attracted millions to embrace the religion with their message of purity, justice and universal brotherhood.

A Grim Reality…

Ironically, with the passage of time, the true essence of their teachings faded to the hands of imposters… As a result of which, today, we witness these malevolent creatures exploiting the weak in his desperation to seek refuge from agonies of this world…

“There will come a time for my people when there will remain nothing of the Qur’an except its outward form and nothing of Islam except its name and they will call themselves by this name even though they are the people furthest from it.”

The Dire Need to Endorse our Responsibilities

Appreciating the efforts of men such as Iqrar ul Hassan, we really hope that our Government would soon consider taking swift action against those who tarnish the image of Islam and Sufism while pursuing such atrocious practices…
