Pakistan Army, an institution that is of recently, being marred with agendas that the normal officer who serves does not want to be a part of. For decades, it has been the Army which has protected us against all evils, internal and external.
When parents send their son to become a part of the army, they do more than just that metaphorically. They give a part of their heart away. Every day, the restlessness continues, of whether their child would make it alive or not. Whether he would succeed in his missions? Whether he would be able to do himself and his cortege proud or not.
Every single day, away from their houses, families, parents and children, these brave warriors fight on the borders so in return, we can sleep peacefully at night. However, there are some nights, when the slumbers of both people and the forces are tormented by non-state actors, who want to show the country down.
During such conflict situations, countless lives are lost and our brave soldiers at their lives’ expense save ours. Not being scared of anything, they sacrifice their lives and become martyrs, shaheeds, who then rest in our heart till eternity. This footage shows just that, a father paying tribute and homage to his shaheed son. It is said that the footage is of one Captain Hasnain Shaheed’s father who passed away in an IED blast in Kurram Agency.
Countless other soldiers, captains and other ranked officers have embraced martyrdom and this salute from Hasnain Shaheed’s father pays tribute to them all. The way he stopped and saluted his son’s dead body, the way he kissed his casket, it would make a grown man cry.

In the last two days, Pakistan Army has been at the loggerheads again in Balochistan. First it was Colonel Sohail Abid who lost his life in an operation against the Lashkar-e-Jhangvi, along with sepoy Sanaullah, and later, the next day on the 1st of Ramadan, 5 terrorists stormed the FC Madadgar Headquarter in Quetta, but were neutralized by our forces as well.
