From the poor to the rich, the education has become everyone’s need. Every child, even from the slums, has an urge to have a decent job in an office. All genres of media have also played their part by persuading for learning, understanding and above all the education, but the darker side of all that is hammering to the ultimate destruction. A middle-class child has very few options for a better and safer future that would ensure a definite and respectable job. I had a very harsh experience of some of them.
First of all, very few of the toppers make their way to practical life because they have never been into the practicalities of their chosen field. They can cram anything, but unable to sell themselves in the market. Rest of the students find their place, not because of education, but of their extracurricular capabilities.
Secondly, teachers are defiling the whole scenario. They are more of actors that present their act in their given time in class, and that has no connection with the course outline. In Government institutions, they are all in all, which means any kind of work is forbidden for them. The private sector does nothing, but to add more drones.
Some of the private institutions introduced a system of a check to their teacher in which they keep a hawk eye on attendance and syllabus coverage, but their command and approach towards the course are so cursory that they cannot utter and understand words. The whole session is concentrated to complete the syllabus and students’ upbringing is forgotten.
Thirdly, we have been taught Mr. Chips like lessons for decades that has nothing to do with our culture. Moreover, comparative and shades of subjects from different angles initiate creativity and broadmindedness, contrarily our minds are forcibly filled with one side of the picture and sometimes teachers try to put their way of thinking and lambast the other school of thoughts. Students are not encouraged for research work because that has nothing to do with the degree. Yes, it is only required for M.Phill and Doctorate level students.
Fourthly, the examination system is making it worse. Papercheckers are hungry to get the job because the more you check the higher you get in the shape of money. Every paper is a currency note for them that is why most of the students who do not have correct grammar get through the examination. Moreover, students get passed because they have a lengthy paper regardless of the content and logic. Not only perpetrators are in the paper checking but also present and helping out the students in the examination hall.
Exceptions are there, but very few. If the correctness of all of the above is to be checked, one can ask a student of CSS who is aimlessly wandering from one academy to the other to learn English grammar, history and above all the art of writing. How pathetic it is that all these are basics that are totally neglected. Many politicians, artists, and others had worked for health and safety, leaving education unattended. Thus, giving a full ground for institution owners and teachers to make money without any control over them. The thing that was once called education has been erased, evacuated and vanished from our system and we are left only with business.
A nation’s progress not only depends upon science and technology but also on the researchers as well. Unfortunately, we have only invented abuses, political tactics, and extremism, but failed to produce anything to give too ur upcoming generations.

The article is an effort to emboss some of the salient features of our declining level of education, so to alarm the parents and the authorities and wake them up. I have tried to highlight the wrongdoings of teachers, students, and problems in the examination and syllabus.
