With Naya Pakistan comes ‘Nayi progress’. The moment Imran Khan was elected Prime Minister of Pakistan, people started expecting a lot. Well, let’s be honest here, we were expecting a drastic change in Pakistan but hey, let’s be real. Everything takes times and especially when we talk about the betterment of the country.
But here’s something big! According to news, Bill Gates, Microsoft co-founder and one of the world’s biggest philanthropist has shown interest in exploring investment in the IT sector of Pakistan, in a letter addressed to our Prime Minister, Imran Khan.
And not only this, but the letter also stated that Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation is interested in investing in the health sector of Pakistan to meet the foundations’ personal goals. Previously, Bill Gates has appreciated the efforts of Pakistani government and army in their support for trying to eradicate polio.
The DG of WHO @DrTedros, President of BMGF @ChrisJElias & other senior delegates met the PM just a few moments ago. HM @Aamer_KianiPTI was also present. Issues ranging from Polio Eradication to various Health subjects were discussed during the sitting which lasted for 40 minutes. pic.twitter.com/29iNloIUtP

However, Pakistanis happened to notice something else!
Bill Gates wrote a letter to PM Imran Khan and showed interest in investing in IT and health sector of Pakistan same as he did to Ex-PM Nawaz Sharif when he assumed the office in 2013. Acha sorry.https://t.co/xPpWw3WRYM

According to sources, during the 30-minute conversation with Bill Gates, the two also discussed how technology can be used to increase the effectiveness of polio eradication. Imran Khan also told him how the government is struggling to eradicate polio and Gates appreciated his concern.
Are we about to see a difference?
