With Naya Pakistan comes ‘Nayi progress’. The moment Imran Khan was elected Prime Minister of Pakistan, people started expecting a lot. Well, let’s be honest here, we were expecting a drastic change in Pakistan but hey, let’s be real. Everything takes times and especially when we talk about the betterment of the country.
But here’s something big! According to news, Bill Gates, Microsoft co-founder and one of the world’s biggest philanthropist has shown interest in exploring investment in the IT sector of Pakistan, in a letter addressed to our Prime Minister, Imran Khan.
And not only this, but the letter also stated that Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation is interested in investing in the health sector of Pakistan to meet the foundations’ personal goals. Previously, Bill Gates has appreciated the efforts of Pakistani government and army in their support for trying to eradicate polio.
The DG of WHO @DrTedros, President of BMGF @ChrisJElias & other senior delegates met the PM just a few moments ago. HM @Aamer_KianiPTI was also present. Issues ranging from Polio Eradication to various Health subjects were discussed during the sitting which lasted for 40 minutes. pic.twitter.com/29iNloIUtP
