Just when you thought that the verdict of Panama Case would solve and end everything, you realized you were heavily mistaken. With Nawaz Sharif’s ineligibility and stepping down as Prime Minister, there came a series of allegations from both sides to ridicule one another in front of the general public. Ayesha Gulalai and Ayesha Ahad were surprisingly brought forward who placed some very serious allegations against PTI’s Imran Khan and PML-N’s Hamza Shahbaz respectively. As both these events carry on simultaneously, so does Nawaz Sharif’s seemingly “farewell” rally from Islamabad to Lahore via the Grand Trunk Road. So excited are the party workers that even famous personalities like Abid Sher Ali cannot keep a check of what they are saying on social media.
When Abid Sher Ali was boasting the strength and respect of Nawaz Shareef he may have made a mistake while making this comparison, we believe. Nawaz Sharif is all set to return home in Lahore via the G.T Road which analysts are calling the last show of strength before the “lion” goes down. He and his party (now former party as Supreme Court has ordered Nawaz to leave chairmanship of PML-N as well) will be taking 2 days to reach Lahore, visiting stronghold constitutions, like in Gujranwala. Every PMLN worker is excited and praising their former leader, putting up banners all along the route and even in Lahore stating “I Love You, Nawaz Sharif”. However, Abid Sher Ali could not keep his composure when he tweeted this:

According to the Islamic history, Marhab was a powerful soldier of the Jews who fought against Muslim forces that were led by Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) during Battle of Khyber. As the Muslim forces laid siege to Jews’ Fort Qamus, Hazrat Ali was eventually ordered to break the fort and clear it. There he met Marhab, who was the most feared among the Jewish forces due to his strength, height, and choice of weapon. However, this did not daunt Hazrat Ali at all who finished him swiftly.
We are still unsure why Abid Sher Ali would symbolize Nawaz Sharif as a Jewish soldier who fought against Holy Prophet. Moreover, even after a day he has not deleted or corrected his tweet which raises quite a suspicion regarding MNA’s Islamic knowledge.
