Recently, Reham Khan released the most controversial biography of the year. The book has been in the news for over a week or two because of its content and accusations against Pakistan’s former cricketer turned politician, Imran Khan.

The book begins with her childhood stories. She was born in Libya and belongs to a very well-off family. She shared some of her stupid behaviors during childhood. In the book, she has claimed that she is different from others since her childhood (maybe it is her self-obsession). She got married at an early age of 19 with her second cousin, Ijaz ur Rehman. Also, she declared her first husband a “psychopath”. She mentioned that her life with Ijaz was no less than a heartache and she was a perfect prisoner of him. At that time, due to the family pressure, she wasn’t able to ask for a divorce earlier.

The first fifteen chapters of the book talk about her childhood, life struggles to get a job and her first marriage. The book took a sharp turn when she talked about her journey with Mr. Imran Khan. She alleged her second ex-husband for taking drugs, having 5 illegitimate children, fond of homosexuality and nepotism in his party (Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf).

On the other hand, Reham laud sharif family especially Shahbaz Sharif, Hamza Shahbaz and Maryam Nawaz Sharif for their hospitality, kindness, generosity, and geniality which gives a clear sign that this book can be a propaganda from the opposition party.

All the allegations in the book are without any authentic proof. Reading this book with a neutral mindset will surely give you a feeling that this is written to malign Mr.Khan’s reputation and his party workers. The book was a talk of the town even before the launch for approximately two months. However, even after a media trial, the book failed to convince the people about her serious and probably baseless allegations. The book hardly made a scratch on Imran Khan’s eminence.
