This Defence Day, Please Remember The Lionhearted Martyrs Of The 1965 War

Every year on 6th September, we have celebrated Defence day in order to remember the martyrs of 1965 and to honor our brave soldiers who had a fight till their last breath against India’s attack and made the history. In Pakistan, this day has its own charm as it is considered as a magnificent day of triumph and it is celebrated with great zeal and enthusiasm.

Our national heroes handled the Indian bouts with great courage, nationalistic spirit and skillfully. Pakistan air force, with its greatest performance, had played a significant role in guarding Pakistan at the time of conflict.

1965 had taken place after the operation of Gibraltar and this battle is known as second Kashmir war. On Defence day, we pay homage to martyrs over their losses for the motherland.

Our father of the nation, Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah very well said that, “There is no power on earth that can undo Pakistan”. This quote has been proved by the soldiers of the 1965 war that Pakistan is blessed with the best well-trained military forces.

There is no doubt that the story of the 1965 war is an inspiring one for the youngsters as we usually take our freedom as an ordinary thing. But we need to understand what all it took to get this land. Well, because of the sacrifices and efforts of armed forces.

We have to follow the footsteps of our fearless soldiers and always be ready to serve our country at all times as 6th September is the most auspicious day of every Pakistani’s life. Let’s join hands, be united and celebrate the victory of this glorious day with a patriotic spirit.
