A cricket team becomes very strong if any all-rounder perform at his best. Similarly, Imad Wasim is recognized for his all-around performance. Syed Imad Wasim Haider was born on 18 December 1988 in Swansea, Glamorgan, Wales. He became the first Welsh-born player to represent Pakistan and loves Pakistan very much.

Imad Wasim started his international career in 2006 U 19 cricket world cup and also played first-class cricket. Imad Wasim made his debut in Pakistan international cricket team on 24 May 2015 in a T20 match against Zimbabwe. He made his ODI debut on 19 July 2015 against Sri Lanka. Imad Wasim came to the limelight for his left arm orthodox bowling.

The perfect all-rounder player produces different variations in his bowling. In the 2016 series against West Indies he proved the best opening bowler in a T20 format as he attained a 5 wicket haul. The middle order batting asked him to perform as he resorted to hard-hitting, providing quick runs to Pakistan in the last few overs.

In the domestic scenario, Imad performed in different leagues as for Karachi kings in Pakistan Super League, Jamaica Tallawahs in Carribean Premier League. In the national format, Imad performed for Islamabad Leopards and Punjab Badshahs.

2017 proved to be amazing for Imad Wasim as he attained Number 1 ranks as an all-rounder in ICC rankings. He was also the best player for Pakistan in the year 2017. In the present scenario, Imad is the vice-captain of Pakistan T20 cricket team.

Imad performed in 2017 champions trophy, which was won by Pakistan. 2018 does has not proved to be the best for him as he is injured and was not included in the series against New Zealand. All the eyes are on his captaincy for Karachi kings in PSL season 3, remember Imad Wasim was the captain of ICC U19 world cup 2006 which was won by Pakistan.
