Pakistan’s cricket team captain, Sarfaraz Ahmed, is known for being outspoken, both on and off the pitch. Sarfaraz has valiantly provided assistance to the team with the bat, gloves and as the commander. He has given his all for the team, making us win the Champions Trophy, defeating India in the final match.

A person who has given so much to the country, deserves our respect and help wherever he needs. Unfortunately, such a time has come. Pakistan captain Sarfaraz Ahmed’s niece has gone through a horrible liver disease, and the family now needs our help.

Sarfaraz lodged a public statement, where he asked Pakistanis for their help, the family is looking for a savior, an organ donor who can help save little Aeyza’s life. This is what Sarfaraz wrote:

“This message is for all the people as a very personal support. It’s a fact that gratitude reciprocates. Ayeza, my niece, is suffering from a liver condition and is in desperate need of a life saving donor. I am advocating on behalf of my young niece who’s fighting spirit has been the source of our strength.

She has already gone through one surgery and now needs a life saving donor. Please forward this message to all contacts you may have to save this precious little life. We’ve done that and with your help, Ayeza will get through this. Your contribution will change my niece’s life and change ours forever. – Sarfaraz Ahmed”

The heart-wrenching letter shows the pain in Sarfaraz Ahmed’s words and what the family might be going through. Along with the message, Sarfaraz has given his brother Shafiq’s number (03332238792) if somebody actually decides to help the family which is struggling for Ayeza’s life.

The Pakistan captain, who always seems so strong and confident, has showed as much as he could, what he and the rest of his tight knit family are going through. This is the time, we find it within ourselves, to find help for Sarfaraz and his niece Ayeza.
