A lot of times we have heard Pakistanis question the ‘Naya Pakistan’ Imran Khan vows to bring once he wins this year’s general elections. While this country seeks for desperate change in leadership, Imran Khan is the hope for many, despite how a large population still shares their reservations.
According to those in doubt, Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaaf’s system is usually in question. With the PTI officials being the former representatives of various political parties such as Sheikh Rasheed (in alliance) of PML-Q, Fawad Chaudhry of PPP and others, the promise of ‘change’ is questioned when Pakistanis see the old, corrupt faces in Imran Khan’s party.
While the past-practices of politicians who are now the part of PTI remain to be in question, journalist Sana Bucha raised some concerning questions regarding two political members of Imran Khan’s party.
In An Interview With Imran Khan, Sana Bucha Highlighted the Education of Two PTI’s Official Representatives
Sana Bucha, in her casual interrogation, asked Imran Khan about the education of Amir Liaquat and Usman Dar, both who will be fighting for their spots in Karachi and Sialkot respectively. Usman Dar, who is said to be Imran Khan’s right hand, was the first man in questioning in Sana’s interview with Imran Khan.
According to Sana Bucha, Usman Dar declared in 2013 that he has Masters degree and then in 2018, before the elections, Usman Dar claims to be a bachelor graduate only. On the other hand, she highlighted the case of Amir Liaquat Hussain, who for years claimed that he is a doctor and in the recent times, he has declared he holds a Masters’ degree only.
Imran Khan in returned answered how Sana Bucha should invite these two candidates to her show and question them herself. Sana in returned shared how Imran Khan didn’t inquire about these educational aspects himself when taking these politicians on board.
Imran Khan then said that he has given party tickets to 700 officials and that it is impossible to do such background sections. Irrespective of that, Sana Bucha then asked Imran Khan that if he will now take any actions against these two party members who are not honest with their education, to which he said that he will not take any actions and that the educational institutes should be the one taking actions and not him.
