9-years later, Asia bibi is finally free today. The court acquitted her of all the blasphemy allegations made at her in 2010. Asia Bibi’s case was not unnoticed – the allegations faced by Asia bibi resulted in the assassination of Salman Taseer, a liberal Pakistani politician who stood up in support of the Christian minority woman.
Mumtaz Qadri, Salman Taseer’s gunman shot the politician 28 times because he felt it was his duty to kill a man who was supporting a woman alleged of blasphemy. The charges on Asia Bibi included disrespecting Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
While a lot of havoc was caused, lives were taken and justice was delayed, Asia Bibi is finally a free woman, but the country is now suffering in the hands of religious parties.
Can we stop referring to those people who are currently taking to the streets as protestors. They are anti-state actors and extremists and should be dealt with accordingly.

For All the Right Reasons, The Media Currently Is Not Covering The Protests Happening Across the Country
A good reason because it would just add fuel to the current situation and they won’t stop.
Apparently there's a media blackout on the protests against Bibi Afia's verdict. Be careful. Check Google maps for traffic data. Do NOT start any conversations about the issue with careem/uber captains, or anyone you're 100% sure of.

All the locals are advised to stay indoors till the situation mediates. Using public transport must be avoided at all costs.
All sane people, please avoid posting on social media pics or videos of protests against historic Supreme Court verdict #AasiyaBibi Don't provide them fuel to flourish. Act responsible! Join hands for a tolerant, progressive society. Play your this tiny yet impactful part.

The reason behind these protests is pretty clear – the Islamic political parties are not in favor of this verdict and are pressurizing the courts and the government to do something about it.
For now, Asia bibi walks a free woman, and this itself is a happy news. On the other hand, please stay indoors and stay safe.
