Disgraced cop Rao Anwar who is on the run, is not sitting back anymore. Last night, the news broke on Geo TV’s show with Shahzeb Khanzada where the Home Minister Sindh Sohail Anwar Sial was present as well.
Right after Sohail claimed that Rao Anwar would be caught, Shahzeb Khanzada told him that his sources were directly in contact with Rao Anwar who is still in Pakistan and not in the UK.
Rao Anwar talked to Geo Tv stating a lot of things that sadly the police could not find out. After a raid was conducted on a house in Islamabad, Rao Anwar wasn’t found there, and apparently, it was the wrong house that was raided.
“I have not fled the country, I am in Pakistan,” Anwar said in a conversation with Geo News from an undisclosed location. “I am sending an appeal for justice to the Chief Justice of Pakistan.”
For the rumors that said that Rao Anwar had escaped to London on Malik Riaz’s private plane, this is what Rao Anwar had to say: “I have not even seen Malik Riaz’s plane [let alone use it], these are all baseless allegations.”
“I have no such terms with Asif Ali Zardari to take asylum at Bilawal House.”
As for the house that was raided in F-10 Islamabad, Rao Anwar before saying that police had put posters of his arrest on the wrong house, claimed: “I bought the house (which was raided by police) mentioned on my CNIC in 1993, from the prize money received for killing Farooq Dada, after Bahadur Ali’s murder. I sold it off later but did not change my address on my CNIC due to security reasons.”
After so many allegations in place, Bahria Town’s Malik Riaz also released a video statement where he said that he owned two planes and Rao had not used either. He said that he would never help a criminal and an absconder, while hurting the family of innocent Naqibullah Mehsud.
In a twist of events, it is Ex-SSP Malir Rao Anwar who is asking the Chief Justice and Supreme Court for justice. Ironically, he says that the current setup is not favorable to him as the police is trying to frame him in Naqibullah’s encounter. However, Rao did not make any further claims of Naqib being a terrorist.
Everyone in Pakistan now knows that Rao Anwar killed Naqib Mehsud in a fake encounter. It is only a matter of time before Rao is arrested and confesses to all the crimes he has committed against humanity in Karachi.
