Hakeemic prescriptions for diabetes cause delay in starting oral hypoglycemic and insulin which leads to early development of complications.

The health department should kick the ballistics and plan a crackdown on these people who are flourishing without proper licenses. Not only should they be fined and their practices curtailed, various media outlets such as newspapers, radio, and cable network should also be warned against advertising their adds as it misleads people.
There should be awareness campaign on media against these quacks who are flouting the orders with impunity. Apart from state and media, the public should also be vigilant and not fall for these conmen.
