The massacre is causing mass problems for both State and Baloch nationalists because the incident is still at the center of confusion. Ever since the incident took place, it was being believed that the 15 residents of Punjab were on their way to Iran, entering illegally. Upon being caught by the Irani forces, these people were held and executed.

However, the incident has taken a new turn. Apparently, different sources suggest that these 15 people were part of a broader cortege that was to enter Iran illegally. Only 15 from the lot, all who belonged to Punjab, were picked and murdered by Baloch nationalists of the area. The nationalist party is linked with the incident is Dr. Allah Nazar Baloch’s Balochistan Liberation Front (BLF).

The even of Punjab-based migrants being killed in Balochistan has caused a storm on social media as well. There are many claims that the migrants died at the hands of Irani forces, while others, including ISPR, suggest that Baloch nationalists were involved in the incident.
