The world is full of vile people and their heinous activities. One of the most inhumane likings a grown man can hold is towards children, the phenomena dubbed as pedophilia.
Every day, in the United Kingdom, vigilantes who set up themselves as virtual decoys (make a profile of children) on the internet, intercept pedophiles from all around the UK. One British-Desi recently was caught by these interceptors, who confronted him when he was on his way to meet a 12-year-old girl.
Imran Ali had arranged a meeting with the 12-year-old, after sending her explicit messages, videos, and pictures. The pedophile thought he was going to meet the little girl, but little did he know that the girl was one of the vigilantes all along.
On being caught red-handed, what Imran did shocked the interceptors as well. After being questioned and stopped by the interceptors, waiting on the police, Imran Ali swallowed his cell phone’s sim-card, in a bid to rid himself of the onus probandi, the burden of proof.
Imran had been grooming the 12-year-old into meeting him and carrying out explicit acts. When confronted, he was left shocked and in disarray. People, however, under the social media video, commented that the interceptors only looked for Asian pedophiles to harass them and ridicule their name and acts.
But one thing is for sure, pedophilia is one of the worst things a human can think of or carry out. Children need protection and in the UK, decoy-vigilantes are doing their job with full diligence.
