Forbes, as every year, has launched its Asia’s 30-under-30 list and out of the thirty, 9 Pakistanis have made it to the list of Asia’s most inspiring youngsters, re-inventing industries and driving the spirit of change.
Just as every year, young Pakistani talent and entrepreneurs continue to make the country proud, especially when it comes to Forbes’ lists. Here are the fellow countrymen/women who made it to the respectable and auspicious list of Asia’s 30-under-30.
1. Momina Mustehsan – Musician
The Coke studio starlet, Momina Mustehsan, ever since coming onto the big screen has made a name of herself. A renowned brand ambassador and the face of many products, Momina has done exceptionally well for herself.
2. Muahmmad Shaheer Niazi – Emerging Scientist
17-year-old aspiring scientist Muhammad Shaheer Niazi was included in the healthcare and science category, for his way to photograph the movements of ions forming a honeycombish shape when electrically-charged particles try to pass through a pool of oil.
3. Sadia Bashir – PixelArt Games Academy
Sadia Bashir was included in the list for Enterprise technology category. Bashir’s work to provide a platform and plug the vaccum between industry and education through training videos in game development has made her stand out.
4. Hamza Farrukh – Bondh-E-Shams
In the Social entrepreneurs category, Hamza Farrukh’s Bondh-e-Shams, the Solar Water project stood out. He has developed a solar-powered water extraction and filtration system which will help nearly 5,000 people daily.
5. Syed Faizan Hussain – Perihelion Systems
The baby-faced 24-year-old Syed Faizan Hussain is the founder of Perihelion systems, which aims to better the lives of people who work around technology. With products like Edu-Aid, Sign language translating software and others, Faizan has outdone the rest in his category.
6. Adnan & Adeel Shaffi – Price Oye
The Shaffi duo of Price Oye made it to the list in the Retail and E-commerce category. Their online price comparison engine, Price Oye, has been dubbed as a massive hit. The duo have been able to catch over a million hits per month.
7. Muhammad Asad Raza & Abrahim Ali Shah – Neurostic
Last but not the least, the duo of Asad and Ali, of Neurostic made it to the list in the Healthcare and science category. Their organization uses technology to improve healthcare services and products across the developing world. The duo have also developed cheap alternate prosthetic limbs for amputees around the globe. Let us be super proud of them!
