A proud moment for Pakistan, a student named Muhammad Haider bagged the highest marks in Cambridge university mathematics exams syllabus D 2017. He is the student of Bahria College Karsaz, Karachi. Muhammad Haider thanked his academic institution for helping him score honorable recognition all over the globe.

In reward of his great achievement, he will soon receive the “TOP IN THE WORLD AWARD” from Cambridge University for his splendid performance. Top in the world award refers to learners, who have scored the highest marks in the world for a single subject.

Spokesperson of Pakistan Navy said in his statement that the achievement of Haider is a proof of efforts of Navy to promote education in Pakistan. He further added that Pakistan Navy aims to promote educational as well as extracurricular excellence among the students.

Here I would like to quote IQBAL`S famous verse”: “ZARA NUMM HO TOU YE MATTI BHT ZARKHEZ HAI SAQI” Students like Muhammad Haider represents the bright and positive side of Pakistan.

On one hand we can see our youth and teenagers indulging in immoral and unethical activities but on the other hand students like Muhammad Haider give us a ray of hope. No doubt there is a lot of talented students in Pakistan, All they need is a little push and proper guidance. Lack of guidance leads them to make wrong choices which ultimately leads to harmful consequences.

Apart from guidance, availability of resources is also very important. The government should take steps to aware masses of the importance of education especially in rural areas, as the literacy rate of Pakistan is miserable. It is the duty of the state to provide basic necessities and facilities to our educational institutions. We should promote our talent and provide them with opportunities to shape their future and to bring pride to Pakistan.
