The host of the show, Aamir Khan, asked Kohli if he thought there was a bowler that made him think that he might lose his wicket. On this, Kohli said that Pakistan’s Muhammad Amir is probably the only bowler that makes him nervous — and ranked him in the top 3 bowlers of the world.
With such words coming from the world’s best batsman’s mouth, who are we to second question our team’s most prized possession? Muhammad Amir’s rejuvenation should be praised and every Pakistan should take pride in Virat Kohli’s public statement.
Kohli and Amir are known to have a good relationship on and off the pitch and for Virat to praise Amir in such a manner only shows that the Pakistan-India rivalry is limited to the fans and not the players in professional context.
