The crime rate in Pakistan only seems to rise and our country just keeps on falling in the pit of crime. Recently, we stumbled upon a piece of news that left us heartbroken and rendered us speechless.
Police caught a man on Wednesday on charges of forcing and making a baby with his teenage daughter. In her statement, the 16-year-old told the police that she was the eldest of six siblings that includes three brothers and three sisters–and that her dad, Daulat Khan, works as a day laborer in a local brick kiln.
She told that her father was fighting over petty issues with her mother and once the mother was fed up with all the bickering, she walked out on her family, abandoning the children.
The young girl who’s a resident of Girja Road in the jurisdiction of Saddar Berooni police station alleged that her father has been mistreating her for a year.
“My father used to mistreat me with dire consequences if I spoke to anyone about my ordeal,” she told the police, according to sources. She also added that she decided to approach the police when she found out that she was pregnant.
According to the police, the medical examination has confirmed that the girl has been mistreated by her father. The police have caught her father on these charges and registered a case against him under Section 376 of the Pakistan Penal Code (PPC).
If the man is found guilty he will be imprisoned for a lifetime and will be fine. The police also said that the victim has been handed in the custody of Child Protection Bureau after preliminary medical examination. Further investigations are ongoing.

It’s really gut-wrenching how there’s no one you can turn to, not even your father! Aren’t fathers supposed to protect their children? People like these mustn’t be spared. It’s really sad how cases like these constantly occur and there’s no one who can take an action against and prevent them.
