The Dubai International Cricket Stadium, Ring of Fire, hosted the spectacular opening ceremony of 3rd HBL Pakistan Super League (PSL) on Thursday night. Lights, colors, dancers and Legendary Sufi Singer Abida Parveen Spread the magic of her voice including Pakistani Singers Ali Zafar, Shehzad Roy enthralled the audience with their wonderful performances. American Singer Jason Derulo created an electric atmosphere with his dance moves.
Speaking at the opening ceremony Najam Sethi, The Chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board address the crowd that his determination to bring all the PSL matches to Pakistan. He said PSL belong to every political party, every ethnicity, every province and every group in Pakistan. He appeals to Pakistanis to own the Pakistan Super League.
Former Pakistan Captain Ramiz Raja, The master presenter Of HBL PSL 2018 in attendance along with six captains Peshawar Zalmi’s Darren Sammy, Islamabad United’s Misbah ul Haq, Quetta Gladiators’ Sarfraz Ahmed, Lahore Qalandars’ Brendon McCullum , Karachi Kings’ Imad Waseem and new added team Multan Sultans’ Shoaib Malik with the Dazzle trophy.
Sixth Franchise Multan Sultans makes their debut in this season that will make more gripping for the rest of five teams for the title. PSL season 3 packs more action for the cricket lovers in Pakistan. PSL3 will continue throughout the months of February and March, the final will be held in Karachi on 25 March 2018.

Multan Sultan beat defending champion Peshawar Zalmi by 7 wickets at Dubai Cricket Stadium. Kumar Sangakkara won the “Man of the Match” award for his brilliant innings scored 57 runs off 51 balls. A remarkable fireworks display with illuminating Dubai sky to bring an end to the opening ceremony. It’s now up to the teams to put on a league after such a fantastic opening.
