The decision of holding Pakistan Super League 3rd edition final match in Karachi has sent a wave of excitement among all Karachiites. The third edition of PSL Final 2018 will be played from February 22 to March 25. A full dress rehearsal was arranged in Karachi on Sunday 11 February 2018 to practically display the arrangement for Pakistan Super League 3rdedition Final in Karachi on 25 March 2018. Sindh Police, Pakistan Rangers, Airport Security Force and all other security agencies of Pakistan demonstrated security arrangements to make PSL final; fool-proof secured.
The foreign security experts observed the security arrangements for the 3rdedition of PSL final match. Security demonstration included transportation of players from the airport to hotel and from the hotel to stadium. Army helicopters were also involved for aerial monitoring. The road from Shahrah-e-Faisal to Karsaz coming towards the National Stadium was blocked for routine traffic during the security drill. It is also confirmed that special shuttle service will be provided to fans coming to the stadium for the final from 3 spots – Millennium Mall, Hassan Square, and PAF Museum.
Meanwhile, talking to media after rehearsal, international consultant Reg Dickason, expressed satisfaction over security plan for the PSL 2018 final. He said the arrangements are of International Standards. Karachiites are very excited about the opportunity to finally witness the PSL 3rdEdition 2018 Final spectacle. They hope that it will be a historic event in every way. One of the madness we have witnessed inside the Lucky One Mall was the grand reception of Quetta Gladiators got on the launch of Gladiator brand.
While the majority of the tournament will take place at Dubai and Sharjah’s Cricket Stadium, the big finale will happen in Karachi. Not only are the people of Karachi excited about the PSL 2018 final, showbiz personalities are also super excited!
Celebrities like Faisal Qureshi, Humayun Saeed and TV anchors, lqrar ul Hasan and Waseem Badami were also present at Karachi Kings Event. Pakistan Super League Final has reaped massive excitement and anticipation from fans not only in Karachi but all over the Sindh. Karachi, the country’s largest city last hosted an international match in February 2009. In the 3rd edition of PSL, all 6 PSL teams have foreign players in the squad. Each team can field a maximum of 4 foreign players each match.
