Gilgit-Baltistan’s Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Junaid Arshad has been suspended for reportedly leaking inappropriate pictures of his ex-wife on social media.

On Monday, the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA)  filed a case against him as per his former’s wife, Ayesha Subhani’s complaint accusing him of blackmailing her with the assistance of his friend, Danish Ghani.

He could have least expected it, but alas! This wasn’t expected from him either. I mean what was he thinking of himself, an influential police officer who could get away with it.

Or a Ghairatmand, revengeful and psycho husband who could use his cheap blackmailing tactics to  his ‘Saabqa’ and shutting her up in the name of honor. “Ye #MeToo ka zamana hai bhai.”

The complaint was filed in June ’18. However, the media reported that the accused did not appear before the FIA despite repeated summons.

The investigation agency conducted a raid to arrest Arshad but he already obtained pre-arrest bail. DIG’s ex-wife already moved the Supreme Court in August, seeking cancellation of his bail granted him by the GB Chief Court.

And finally, the DIG had been dismissed under the Workplace Harassment Act, 2010. Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Mian Saqib Nasir addressing this lady’s application ordered the immediate arrest of this rascal. “Do the policemen think themselves beyond the law,” claimed the chief justice.

Lately, cyberbullying and cybercrime has become extremely common and is taking precious lives of mostly young souls. This also leads the victim into clinical depression, isolating themselves and many sleepless nights. Hats off to Miss Ayesha, she turned the tables. Now her husband won’t be able to sleep.

According to a recent study, 65% of cybercrime complaints lodged in Karachi are over misusing on Facebook. Such obscene pages and accounts should be banned immediately and those unethical pictures must be reported ASAP!

This is sad that the ‘Muhafiz’ of the nation was, unfortunately, caught doing such a thing like some teenage nuisance leaking pictures online with the intent to defame the girl out of their league.
