This year, when almost all of the world was celebrating the new year’s eve; Pakistan heard the worst news of all! A girl as young as 6-years-old was subjected to “ziaditi” and was left breathless! The word was spread like anything all over the world, everyone knows the tragedy that the poor girl Zainab Ansari had to go through.
She was not only mishandled but also was left on the pile of trash after her final exit! Her parents were off to umrah, when this happened! She was living with her relatives and her elder siblings when the culprit abducted her from the streets. Though Imran Ali the culprit in question was arrested on 23rd January 2018. After the DNA matched!
Imran Ali was accused of subjecting for “ziaditi” of another 5 minor girls and was hanged till his last breath in October this year.
When this case happened the world wanted to give the culprit the worst of “saaza” for others to see and fear. So, whenever someone even thinks of doing any such crime, he/she should know the grave consequences to follow! And the saaza given to Imran Ali was serious enough for a human to fear.
But who knew that the same crime would be repeated again! Another girl aged 9 was subjected to “ziaditi” and left breathless! The case lies somewhere on the similar trials as of Zainab, Ayesha’s mother left for Umrah and she was living her maternal uncle. Ayesha a resident of Mohalla Shiekhan, Lohari Gate, was taken to the hospital in a critical condition where she died during treatment.
Her maternal uncle was also involved in this, and he was arrested along with three other women!
Ayesha and her mother live with her maternal uncle, as Ayesha’s parents got divorced a year before. The reports are sent to the forensic lab for the DNA match. When the police reached the crime scene, the relatives tried to hide the crime from them. Later the police shifted the body to the morgue and the FIR was lodged against an “unidentified” person on her father’s complaint!
