Qamar Naseem who is working for transgenders but actually he is taking advantage of the name of the trans rights for his own sake. We as a trans community are united and hopeful for the bill. But these type of people are taking away our true rights to live as a normal citizen. We will never ever tolerate this thing. Qamar Naseem a man who shows up as a so-called Trans/Human Activist is using some transgenders as a puppet for his own sake.
The transgender bill was proposed by few senior transgender activists including Bubli Malik Executive Director of Wajood along with Aisha Mughal from Rawalpindi. Meanwhile, in Sindh/Karachi Kami Sid, Bindya Rana and other transgenders are working for the betterment of trans community so they can be considered as a normal citizen.
A few days back Qamar Naseem visited some Islamic scholars while explaining to them that intersex/transgenders are two different entities. But how come you got the chance to disgrace the transgenders? There are a lot of educated and competent trans activists found in Pakistan. Don’t try to become a transgender while you are just a straight man. Transgenders can feel their pain. And they are already struggling for their rights. Let them handle!
The last thing I would like to mention here is a few days ago Blue Veins has published an app Blue Veins that is Trans Muhafiz. Mr.Qamar Naseem first tries to distinguish the terminologies, you can’t take all the responsibilities of transgender on your own! You have to work with other community members without taking any strong decisions.
This is all I wanted to share in this article. I feel pain when I see trans people are working day and night to ensure that all trans persons get secured. But when I see these type of hypocrites my heart really bleeds.
We demand an apology from Qamar Naseem to the community that is being hurt!
