I am writing this to share a tragic event that occurred with my family and ask for help as we are still entangled in the situation.
My brother, Syed Muhammad Nabeel Akhter is a CA finalist and is currently employed by a reputable auditing firm. He has been a great student throughout his education years and an independent young gentleman. On 15th September 2017, Friday, he went from home at 8 pm and informed that he will be back by 10 pm. It was 1 am when we started getting worried and tried calling him but faced utter disappointment when we got to know that his cell phone was switched off.
We waited for some more time that he might return or contact us but he didn’t, leaving us all in immense stress, agony, and panic. It has been 19 days since he has gone missing. We have already contacted police and several other authorities but there is no information regarding his whereabouts. My brother has always been very loving, supportive and an obedient son. Those who know him know that he is an extremely humble and very down to earth person.
To me, he is my world and my best friend. Each of us siblings has a special attachment to him. He is like a bond between us siblings who keeps us all together. We all consider his advice and he becomes the voice of us sisters whenever needed. He has 3 beautiful nieces who miss him a lot as they too were very close to him. Apart from all this he is a patriotic Pakistani and has always guided us all on how we can play our part towards the betterment of our country.
Past few days have been the most difficult days for me and my family. It’s our family’s humble request to the Army Chief, DG Rangers, Chief Minister Sindh, IG Police and higher officials of Law Enforcement Agencies to kindly recover him as soon as possible and ease this distressful situation of ours’. I would also like to request all the readers to please pray for his safe and speedy return and share this post as much as possible. JazakumAllahu Khair.
