On Wednesday the 17th of January, police successfully caught and arrested Quran teacher Hafiz Abdul Malik on the charges of rape of a minor from Okara’s Basit Town.
The uncle of the victim, Muhammad Asif promptly informed the police about the suspect, Abdul Malik who was the teacher of the victim. The madrasa teacher used to give private religious Quranic classes to the girls in the area as well.
In the FIR submitted by Muhammad Asif, he mentioned that the accused sexually assaulted and raped his niece when other girls were not in the house.
Additionally, the uncle also mentioned that the culprit tricked the 9-year-old girl into staying at home and raped her. During the interrogation, the accused confessed the vile actions he took and therefore, he is being charged.

The 9-year-old victim remains hospitalized due to the horrible actions she had to go through.

The DNA sample of Abdul Malik has been taken. Further charges and investigation will now take place.
