Ayesha Gulalai has become a gift for Pakistani media that just never stops giving. After her monumental allegations against Imran Khan and Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaaf, the disgraced former politician of PTI has now gone after Pakistan Muslim League – N.
According to the details, Ayesha Gulalai has turned her guns towards Nawaz Sharif and company, after failing to subdue Imran Khan and his party through a host of different allegations, including sexual harassment.
As per Gulalai’s recent statement, the PML-N had forced her to speak against the Pakistan Army, the most respected and adored institution of the country. In return of badmouthing the army, the PML-N was to offer Ayesha Gulalai a Senate election ticket. As per details revealed by Gulalai outside the Parliament to the media, she denounced their offer, saying that she would never speak against Pakistan Army.
“Some people preach against wedding festivities and dancing, where some badmouth the army,” she said. Gulalai said that Pakistan Army is the only pillar of the state that does its job with diligence, regardless of what goes on in the country.
“On the other hand, I led an election campaign on behalf of the ruling party to mend the public opinion against the PTI and reveal the party’s true face in front of people of Lodhran,” said the MNA. She played a huge part in whipping votes away from PTI, towards PML-N, in hopes of getting a Senate election ticket.
As the elections for the upper house close in, a lot of turbulence has been going on in Pakistan’s political scenario. First, it was the Mutahhida Qaumi Movement – Pakistan that disgruntled and separated into two factions, now the PML-N too has entered the ‘Senate-Frenzy’. MQM-P’s Bahadurabad factions, that includes the Rabbita Committee, dethroned party convener Farooq Sattar, whilst he too disowned the Rabbita Committee, forming the MQM-P’s PIB faction.
As for Ayesha Gulalai, she has been disgraced in the political landscape on charges of false accusations against PTI chairman and other party leadership, where she stated that Imran Khan used to send her ‘adult’ texts and wanted to marry her. Since then, Gulalai’s political career has hindered and she only remains a puppet at the hands of senior politicians.
As for the PML-N, the ruling party is still celebrating their unprecedented and unbelievable victory in NA-154 Lodhran by-polls. To replace Jehangir Tareen with his son is being understood as Imran Khan’s biggest folly on the road to the 2018 general eelctions.
