Since the start of the Naya Pakistan government, VIP protocol has been the biggest concern of prime minister Imran Khan. Before his victory as the prime minister of Pakistan, Imran Khan always spoke against the VIP protocol government officials and politicians received while using the tax money of the locals.
Since his victory, the current government, including himself, Imran Khan and PTI practice minimum protocol procedures for their commute. We have seen a number of videos of PTI politicians traveling with minimum protocol to abide by their claims and rules.
In addition to this, Imran Khan gave the orders of finishing VIP protocol from different ventures as well.
However, It Seems That Airports Are Not Quite Following This and Continue Giving Protocol To Locals
The event in account took place in front of the Immigration section at the Karachi Airport. The video is recorded by TV show host, Iqrar-ul-Hasan who witnessed this first-hand.
This Man and his Family Was Seen Receiving VIP Protocol

Iqrar-ul-Hasan recorded the long line of people waiting for their turn to be entertained. This particular family called someone, who then provided the family with protocol.
One person who was with the couple the entire time then threw a tantrum and called out Iqrar-ul-Hasan for misbehaving. During the entire video, the host requested the couple to step back in the line and follow the proper procedure. He also started abusing in the end of the video.

What Iqrar-ul-Hasan did was accurate and something that needs to be done. We need to step up and stop praising the VIP protocol system; not just to the politicians but to the locals as well.
On the other hand, the airport official who provided this protocol to the residents need to be called-up for his actions, since he broke a rule.
