In this largely civilized world and our busy lives, humanity is still alive. It’s not uncommon to find out volunteers to serve this nation. If we look around, we see a lot of people engaged in helping the society to groom and that makes me feel pretty proud of this generation’s youth! There’s always a part of the society which needs special care and maybe we are somewhere lost to help these special kids. Yes, I am talking about handicapped students, those which require your care.
Eliya Care Home is a platform for these special kids. It’s an NGO running under the supervision of Ms. Nadia Gillani and Sir Kamran. Here, children with disabilities are treated with special care, mainly reading and writing, along with general ethics of life.
Currently, almost 70 students are studying in the institution. About 40 types of disabilities are treated under one shelter. Previously, there was no such institution developed by any sector in Faisalabad which can deal with different disabilities under one shelter.
These kids need your love and support! Eliya Care Home is located on 24-Y-J block Madina Town, Faisalabad and has a rented building, expenses are high which is creating difficulties.
Eliya Care Home is running due to the involvement of youth and their sincerity has actually helped the NGO. We are raising funds through different activities and events, Eliya highly needs volunteers to help the NGO grow.
