One of the biggest names of the sub-continent, a mysterious figure, an alleged don, Dawood Ibrahim and his legacy both live on. As alleged by Indian media for years, the outcast underworld don now lives in a posh locality of Karachi, Pakistan.
However, according to numerous media hubs, both Pakistan and Indian, the once extremely feared Dawood Ibrahim is going through a mental dilemma and acute depression. The reason? Dawood Ibrahim’s son’s rapid change of personality.
Allegedly, Dawood Ibrahim’s only son, 31-year-old Moin Ibrahim who is married with kids, has had a shift in his views about life and the world. It is being said that Moin has turned extremely religious, and wants to turn into a religious cleric/preacher. It is even being said that young Moin has decided to leave his house, and live in the quarters provided by the local mosque which is next to his house.
Although there might be zero truth to this whole charade, including Dawood Ibrahim living in Pakistan, the news has sparked a fire in the sub-continent. The details of the news came out after a senior police officer of the Indian Extortion Cell, Pradeep Sharma, said that he had been interrogating Dawood Ibrahim’s younger brother Iqbal Kaksar.
Iqbal stated that his brother Dawood Ibrahim had taken a huge dive into depression after the change in his son’s behavior and activities. Allegedly and apparently, Moin Ibrahim was sick of all the negativity that his family and business had brought upon him, and he could not live with the history. Thus, he decided to turn to religion, as the cure.
The move is also being appreciated by many on social media, that no son should follow in the footsteps of a wrongdoing father. Dawood Ibrahim has been thought to be the plot-master of the 1993 Bombay Bombings, also known as Black Friday.
Although there may be no truth to the news at all, the story is turning out to be very interesting for Indian media users, who already have a gripping interest in such plots, which resemble Bollywood.
