Being Millenials, growing up, we’ve heard and seen that Pakistan’s best friend in the international world is China. However, after 9/11, the incline towards the USA could be easily seen and it was very obvious why Pakistan had to fight someone else’s war.
With things back to normal, the Pakistan-China friendship is now blossoming unprecedently in leaps and bounds. Along with the CPEC Corridor and business, the social influx is also visible. Chinese people can easily be seen almost in every part of the country. To celebrate the Pak-China friendship, somebody recorded a video of a Chinese girl speaking sublimely fluent Punjabi.
The woman is encountered by a Punjabi man who first talks in English. After the man starts speaking Punjabi, he is shocked to see that the Chinese woman whose name is Lu, can converse in Punjabi fluently. While talking, the man asks her who she learned Punjabi from and Lu replied that it was a friend and she has been speaking for 5 years.
The man also asked her if she would want to marry a Punjabi man in the future, to which Lu shyly replied, “we’ll just have to wait and see”. Upon taking permission of giving her number to his Punjabi friends, she denied saying they bug too much. The video is just too cute, see for yourself.
