We have developed a habit that we don’t appreciate the good deeds happening around us what we do is always criticize. Our behavior tends towards negativity, although things are used to get better on pointing out the fault, doing criticism all the time bring negativity in general. Mental approach of masses developed on the basis of incidents happening around.
One should be fair enough that he or she must appreciate the good deeds to promote healthy culture. Electronic media, print media or social media are flooded with such news which brings negative impact on masses and generates a negative impression of society. An ordinary man rightly thought that it is all destruction and negativity around.
Pakistanis are caring and loving people. We have hundreds of examples in our society of being humble, kind and helpful to mankind. I want to share my recent experience here. We live in Ghauri Town adjacent to Islamabad highway. At one side of Islamabad expressway is Rawalpindi and on another side in Islamabad.
I want to share an incident that left an unforgettable impact on my family. On 26th Apr 2018, my father had a heart attack. That time I will never forget, I was present at home around 11 pm my father complaint chest pain. Within no time keeping his hand on the chest he fell down, we hold him and laid him on the bed. The first thing we do was put a tablet under his tongue.
The situation was very crucial, everybody at home was worried that what has happened and what to do. Some days ago before this incident, we had sold out our car and yet we had not purchased other one. Next step was to shift him to nearby hospital having heart attack first aid treatment facilities. When we were laying my father on the bed and giving him the tablet under his tongue.
One of my brothers called the ambulance, unfortunately, the response from the ambulance service was pathetic we requested them to shift the patient to National Institute of Heart Diseases, Rawalpindi ambulance service replied that we can shift the patient to PIMS Islamabad if you want to shift him to any hospital at Rawalpindi you have to call Rawalpindi Ambulance Service.
Time was running out and we don’t want to waste time by arguing with them, in the meanwhile ‘Careem’ vehicle arrived that was called by my brother as the backup as the ambulance wasn’t coming. Within 5 minutes ‘Careem’ arrived, the captain was told the situation, the man Careem captain must be appreciated, he tried his best and put his efforts to reach the hospital as early as possible.
Today Alhamdulillah my father is with us. After Allah taala Fazal, he was the man who came to us as an angle. Now whenever I recalled that time, I pray for progress and good health of that man. We have to do good deeds to others around us. Helping in need time is a great deed. By doing small good things, we can change our society to a better progressing and care.
