Two of the worst charades to hit Pakistan in recent times are both significantly mysterious. One, the Blue Whale game, that reached the whole world from Russia, including Pakistan. Second, the Karachi stabbings — madmen on the loose stabbing innocent women.
The Karachi stabbings have been going on for over a month now with the police left scratching their heads. Over the course of the attacks, 16 suspects were arrested, with the police also boasting that they had arrested the prime suspect. This man was Waseem, a resident of Sahiwal, who according to the police, had been conducting the attacks in Karachi.
While Waseem was in police custody, another stabbing took place in the Federal-B Area of Karachi. A girl named Areeba was stabbed while she was en route her grandmother’s house with her brother. A man approached her from behind on a motorbike, similar to previous incidents, and gave her a quick stab before fleeing away.
However, the serial-stabbings have taken a new turn. Two suspects arrested, Fawad and Ahsan, are rather mischievous in their activities. Of all the 12-14 stabbings that have taken place, their phone’s location history shows that they have been around the crime-scene. And the worst part is that these men are being linked to the Blue Whale game.
Police are now of the belief that curators of the Blue Whale game are outsourcing the stabbings in Karachi as tasks for people. This comes after the cell-phones of both these suspects were thoroughly checked.
The Blue Whale suicide game has already taken a lot victims — including the two boys from Mardan who committed suicide. If both these charades are actually linked, then this story would make international headlines.
