One of the biggest mistakes of our nation is that we forget our legends. We don’t even do justice with their memories. Many of our mentors and legends are living their lives without any appreciation and many of them died and we don’t even know about their death.
Today is the birthday of our legend and a great leader Mohtarma Fatima Jinnah. Yes, it is true. Today is 126th Birthday of the Mother Of Nation who lived her whole life for Pakistan and devoted her everything for Pakistan. The Lady Of Pakistans’s death is also a shameful mystery of many of such historical moments of Pakistan which are not yet solved.
Alas! We live in a society where people even forget the living legends. She was a great and a very powerful leader in the political history of Pakistan. She lived with Quaid-e-Azam before and after the death of his wife Ratan Bai.
Paying tribute to the Mother Of Nation, Quaid-e-Azam said once, “My sister was like a bright ray of light and hope whenever I came back home and met her. Anxieties would have been much greater and my health much worse, but for the restraint imposed by her”.
Because of her political wisdom and services she was given the title of “Madar-e-Milat”.She also became the first lady Opposition leader (1960-1967).
