Last year, Begum Kulsoom Nawaz, the wife of former Prime Minister Nawaz Shareef was taken to London for health checkup where she was diagnosed with throat cancer and later it came to the knowledge that her cancer had spread all over her body. In 2017, she had to go through multiple surgeries to get her lymph nodes removed and was kept in intensive care since then after which on multiple accounts, Maryam Nawaz kept informing people of her health and how she has greatly recovered throughout this time and the prayers of people worked!
Until Wednesday, when Maryam Nawaz tweeted about how she and her father, Nawaz Shareef are traveling to London to visit Begum Kulsoom Nawaz and will spend their Eid there.
This is before she broke the news of her mother’s health!

While they were on the flight, they got the news that Kulsoom Nawaz had a Sudden Cardiac Arrest

Shehbaz Sharif asked for prayers as he too got to too about the deteriorating health of Begum Kulsoom

Last year when she was diagnosed and kept under observation, her health was very fine but after a month, she went through many surgeries! But now a sudden shock that came to the Nawaz family and friends must have got them all in a worrisome state. On Wednesday, it is said that Kulsoom collapsed in the ICU after the cardiac arrest and had not regained consciousness until now. She was kept on a ventilator, life-support machine, and emergency medicines before her cardiac arrest but after her cardiac arrest, she was readmitted to the hospital and is kept under observation!
Through election’s heavy workload and much more, the family must be in severe stress! May the family receives good news of her health and return home peacefully!
