Recently, different pages on Facebook have been reporting the death of ASP Zahida Parveen, which is absolutely fake and baseless. Different pages have sent posts viral showing pictures of ASP Zahida, along with another picture where two senior policemen are lifting a dead body for the funeral. A third picture shows a woman who is shot dead, resembling ASP Zahida Parveen.

The news had been going viral on social media for a couple of days, before ASP Zahida Parveen’s official Facebook page denounced the news and told her fans that she was alive and well, serving as ASP in Hyderabad, Sindh.

Senior police officials have also said that Facebook pages promoting and sharing fake news regarding ASP Zahida Parveen’s death will also be held responsible for spreading false accusations along with libel.

ASP Zahida Parveen was recently posted as SDPO Phulleli, Hyderabad and is performing her duties with great zeal and vigor as always. It is a request to Facebook pages who post fake news for shares, that one wrong step from them can hurt many people emotionally.

ASP Zahida’s fans and family members are happy that the female CSP/PSP Officer is alive and serving her country to the best of her abilities. As for the news of her death, pages that have been causing trauma by sharing the fake news will be bearing the brunt.
