Pakistanis are currently seeing the controversial revelation of Rao Anwar, the former SSP who shared secret information regarding MQM. In 1982, Rao Anwar was elected as the SSP Malir. Eventually, the SSP was appointed as the SHO for Nazimabad, for being involved in operations with MQM.

Despite the controversies revolving around Rao Anwar, who currently seems to have disappeared, former president of Pakistan Asif Ali Zardari defended him, by calling him a “brave kid” in an interview with a private news channel.

In 1994 and 1995, Rao Anwar is said to survive through the operations against the MQM, due to which Zardari called him “brave”.

Rao Anwar, according to eyewitnesses and sources, revealed that was involved in the killing of the young Naqeebullah, which happened three months ago. Aside from this, Rao Anwar has been said to be involved with PPP, allegedly having murdered various innocent individuals.

The former president then retracted his statement, claiming that he gave the wrong impression, saying his words were “misspoken and regretted any offense to anyone”.

Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Spokesperson Senator Farhatullah Babar stated that Zardari meant to honor the bravery of Rao Anwar on being able to defend himself in front of the actions of MQM.
