Pakistan’s most renowned and famous umpire, an international figure, Aleem Dar has just ventured into the forever growing food business. Dar has just opened up a posh fine dining restaurant in Lahore that goes by the name of ‘Dar’s Delighto’ in the PIA society.
Aleem Dar’s new restaurant serves almost everything that fine-diners love to eat — ranging from fast food, continental, desi food to live bbq, along with an exceptional ambiance both in and out of the restaurant.
As per Dar, the main purpose of the restaurant is to provide people with jobs and raise a lot of money for his own charities. Aleem Dar already runs a cricket academy for disabled children, which helps polish their skills on and off the field.
Dar’s new ventured started in December last year and the best wishes poured in from all over the world. One of Dar’s friends from the game of cricket, although they aren’t of the same age, is Virat Kohli. Kohli has always been around Dar, from sending a video message to his son on his birthday, to sending him a signed bat. Kohli was not going to stay behind when it came to Dar’s restaurant. Indian skipper Virat Kohli recorded a heartfelt video statement where he wished the best of luck to Dar’s Delighto and Aleem Dar.
