Aqeel Karim Dhedhi, one of Pakistan’s most prominent business tycoons and stock investors, has launched an initiative for all young Pakistani entrepreneurs.
Dhedhi, the founder of the AKD group, has a long history of supporting the Pakistani economy and community by launching both businesses and promising individuals, creating fresh employment opportunities in the process. AKD has now vowed to continue his philanthropic efforts by using his unique standing in the Pakistani business community for the betterment of young and hungry entrepreneurs. He wants to create a platform, through the use of Facebook, which supports ideas regardless of what they might require financially.
AKD announced, in a brief video message, that he is initiating a program to help facilitate all such up and coming businessmen and women. Together with the Pakistani business community and investors, who he addresses in his message, AKD hopefully wants to help young entrepreneurs in their endeavors. By appealing to established and generous investors, AKD wants to create a platform where ideas and plans can be shared among the right parties. This connection between investors and entrepreneurs can open up several doors to financial and business prosperity.
Unfortunately, especially in third-world economies like Pakistan, entrepreneurs and start-up’s struggle to maintain themselves and often fall flat on their faces. Even bright minds eventually give up on their dreams in order to pursue a more secure employment rather than invest their time and what little money they have into their dream businesses and passion projects. AKD insists on preserving this passion and drive to succeed in minimizing the risk of financial disaster. For many young entrepreneurs, the budget is the one constraint they face regularly and the lack of money is what crushes all hopes.
AKD wants to provide all deserving entrepreneurs with the right qualifications and ideas, with investors who would invest in their businesses and partner with them. The success of these businesses guarantees enormous benefits for those who invest in them. AKD reassures the investors by letting the investors themselves decide who they want to invest on and how much they want to invest in.
