Kashmir, the bone of contention between Pakistan and India, has seen the best of the worst in the last 70 years. Both countries claim that the once buffer state should side with them. However, the Indian forces currently control the region, with standard of humanity being second to none.

A former Pakistani musician, who now lives in India, Adnan Sami, has been gaining immense popularity in his new country of choice. Adnan’s ‘anti-Pakistan’ agenda is what drives the Indians more than anything.

Recently, Adnan Sami held a concert promoting ‘peace’ in Srinagar, Kashmir, which he would have boasted immensely about if it weren’t for Omar Abdullah, the former Chief Minister of Indian Occupied Jammu & Kashmir.

It all started when Omar Abdullah crushed Adnan Sami’s dreams of boasting about the concert on Twitter, commenting on a tweet that showed the ’empty chairs’, calling it a ‘real pity’.

Adnan Sami did not take to this very kindly. Furiated, he replied to Omar Abdullah and the spat started!

And then… the arguments started and they went on!

Regardless of who won the spat, a former Chief Minister of Occupied Jammu & Kashmir labeled Adnan Sami’s concert as a failure. This hurt Adnan more than anything because he has left Pakistan for the country that still hasn’t accepted him in entirety.

Adnan’s attempt to show Pakistan that Kashmir accepted him failed miserably, with an Indian blowing the cover on him. Every day, Kashmiris voice their opinion on the mistreatment by Indian forces on the poor population. The UN and other humanitarian charters till day, have stayed mum.
