Ever since 9/11, the United States has held zero regards for Pakistan’s sovereignty. Under different Presidents, be it George W. Bush or Barrack Obama, whenever the US has wished, they have attacked Pakistan with drone technology, in their ‘fight against terrorism’.

Pakistan Air-force’s Air-Chief Marshall, Sohail Aman, however, has said that Pakistan will not put up with the devilish ideas and plans of the US anymore. As per news sources, ACM Sohail Aman has ordered Pakistan Air-force to shoot down any drone that violates Pakistan’s air-space.

He said so while speaking in Islamabad on the Kamra Airbase attack, which martyred a lot of officers of the forces. “We suffered a lot of losses in the incident but did not lose our morale. In fact, we have continued the fight against extremism with unflinching vigor and resolve since then, transforming the PAF into a much stronger force,” said Sohail Aman.

Sohail Aman did not just talk about the external threats, being India, Afghanistan and the US, but also the internal threats that exist within the country. As per the ACM, Pakistan Air-force was more than capable of countering and controlling any situation.

“An international organization wanted $287 million to cover the material damage that the PAF sustained in the attack, but Pakistan’s bright, young scientists and engineers added two new, fully-functioning fighter planes to our fleet at a fraction of the cost,” Aman said.

“After the attack on Kamra Air Base, not only did we set out to make the PAF better and stronger, but we were also determined to guide the nation towards self-sufficiency. Now, Pakistan will make its own fighter jets.”

Sohail Aman was clear in his opinion that no country would be given free-hand to violate Pakistan’s integrity and sovereignty. If even the US wishes to eliminate terrorism, inside Pakistan, it must inform Pakistan and ask it to take steps against the evil, instead of thinking of Pakistan as its backyard.
